“Having played sport in my youth, but now in my 50’s, I didn’t think I’d be able to lose fat or gain strength. I love that I don’t have to visit a gym spending loads of time going from machine to machine. My routine that lasts no more than half an hour allows me to order my day properly have a daily discipline. It’s a rarity that I miss a days training other than my Sunday ‘rest day’. I couldn’t believe I’d ever be able to use the 32kg kettlebell.

I had seen a personal trainer before, but I never had someone helping with nutrition and Sam certainly helped me with that, changing habits and learning about eating, and how to food prep. So far I think I am most proud of losing fat and getting under 80kg. I’ve learnt that the number on the scale is however just a number and doesn't say anything about the level of fitness ! I would tell anyone else, take one step at a time and to enjoy the journey. Losing fat and getting stronger takes time and is not done overnight!
